for GoW: Ragnarok. Despite the release date of God of War: Ragnarok being just

God of War: Ragnarok Gameplay:
God of War: Ragnarok uses the
same battle mechanics introduced in the earlier games of the series that have
been heavily improved as well as new elements are added to the game. During
fights, users need to watch out the rival’s moves, dodge enemy attacks, &
execute fast counter hits. Rivals can be eliminated with the help of blades
& an axe. Kratos can hit rivals with an axe, & in addition, he tosses
the axe at rival & then summons it back to himself. Kratos will receive
help from his son in battles. As players advance through the gameplay, they
will improve their character, as well as upgrade their weapons & armor,
which will let them confront harder enemies in battles.
